The European Cyclist Federation (ECF) has become a new knowledge and network partner of the initiative. The ECF is the world`s leading advocate for cyclists, focusing on the development of bicycle traffic as an accessible and sustainable means of transportation. MyC also discussed membership of the Climate Change Action Act, a global coalition that aims to catalyze transport as promoters of sustainable development, in line with Agenda 2030 and the Paris Agreement. The next meeting of MyC`s steering committee will be held in Berlin on 6 March 2020. MYC has set itself the goal of supporting three pilot cities: Nagpur (Maharashtra), Kochi (Kerala) and Ahmedabad (Gujarat) in their efforts to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions from urban transport through the implementation of urban mobility plans at the local level, and to help India improve its sustainable transport policy at the national level. The three pilot cities selected under the programme as well as Mohua will benefit from technical assistance measures that will be implemented under the PROGRAMME. The main elements of the proposed assistance are support for the planning and implementation of sustainable urban transport projects, support for the strengthening of institutional regulatory capacity, management and planning of urban mobility, and the learning and exchange of formats with other cities across India for the exchange of good practices. Details of the project`s activities are developed by AFD in consultation with Mohua and three twin cities, including institutions such as securitisation vehicles (SPV) for smart cities, municipal businesses and all transport authorities or transport-related VPVs.

India and France have signed an implementation agreement on Mobilize Your City (MYC) to help three pilot cities – Nagpur, Kochi and Ahmedabad – reduce greenhouse gas emissions from urban transport.
